Origins of Logo
GECOM is an acronym for
Greensburg Equipment and Components Manufacturing		 gecom logo

The logo of GECOM symbolizes many things:

  • Formed in the letter G as in GECOM.
  • The color green was chosen because of our community's name - Greensburg.
  • The upper section is divided into three sections from Mitsui.
  • Mitsui Kinzoku is our parent company. In Japan, Mitsui means three wells.
  • The upper section symbolizes leaves on a tree, and are a lighter green than the lower section symbolizing the branch, which is a darker green. Together, they symbolize the Tower Tree of Greensburg.
